Five days around Jiangxi, with private land arrangements for your party.
Nanchang 4-diamond hotel, Wangxian-area guesthouse, Wuyuan 5-diamond hotel and Jiujiang Hampton by Hilton.
4 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners, as shown in the daily itinerary.
Private vehicle and driver for the agreed route and Nanchang arrival/departure transfers.
The main visits on the itinerary; cable cars and internal scenic transport are itemised separately.
Local guiding for the agreed sightseeing; confirm your preferred language when requesting a quotation.
Arrive in Nanchang, where your driver meets you at the agreed airport or railway station and takes you to your hotel. The first day is left free so you can settle in after the journey and explore at your own pace. No guided sightseeing or included meals are scheduled today.
If your arrival leaves time, Bayi Square, the August 1st Nanchang Uprising Memorial Museum or Qiushui Square are possible independent outings. These visits are suggestions rather than included stops, and opening arrangements need to be checked for your date. For a first taste of the city, try Nanchang mixed rice noodles or clay-pot soup at a local restaurant.
Accommodation: Nanchang
Hotel: One night at a selected local 4-diamond hotel in Nanchang.
Meals: No meals included
Leave Nanchang early for Sanqingshan. This is the busiest day of the itinerary, combining an intercity drive, a mountain walk and an evening valley visit. Take the cable car towards the mountain trails, then explore a practical circuit of granite formations and viewpoints. Look for the Oriental Goddess and Giant Python rock formations and the cliffside views around Sunshine Coast. Your guide plans the walk around weather, trail access and your pace; the mountain paths still involve steps even with cable-car access.
Continue to Wangxian Valley and have dinner before the evening visit. Walk the lanes and bridges as the lights reveal cliffside buildings and the stream below, taking time for photographs as the atmosphere changes after dark. Stay at a guesthouse outside the scenic area tonight, keeping the overnight stop close to the valley. Cable-car tickets and any internal scenic transport are itemised separately in the quotation.
Accommodation: Outside Wangxian Valley
Hotel: One night at a selected local guesthouse outside the Wangxian Valley gates, with the property and room type confirmed in your quotation.
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Travel to Huangling, a hillside village in Wuyuan reached by cable car. Walk through lanes framed by whitewashed walls and dark tiled roofs, looking across the terraces and the bamboo trays used for shaiqiu crop-drying displays. The village offers a changing palette through the year; flowers, crops and the landscape depend on the season.
A Huizhou-style farmhouse lunch is included today, followed by time to enjoy the village scenery before continuing to your Wuyuan hotel. In the evening, Wunvzhou can be added as an optional outing by prior arrangement. Its admission, shows and boat rides are quoted separately. Huangling and the meals listed for today are included in the standard itinerary.
Accommodation: Wuyuan
Hotel: One night at a selected local 5-diamond hotel in Wuyuan.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Drive to Jingdezhen and visit China Ceramics Museum, where the collections introduce the porcelain tradition that shaped the city. The visit is arranged around the museum’s opening calendar and available admission slots. If it is closed or visitor capacity prevents admission, the planned alternative is Taoyangli’s heritage area; entry to every building within that area is not guaranteed.
Continue to Sculpture Porcelain Factory, a ceramics neighbourhood with studios, small shops and stalls to browse. The standard visit is a walk through the area. If you would like to try wheel throwing, painting or clay modelling, a pottery session can be added in advance; firing and shipping require separate arrangements. Afterwards, travel to Jiujiang and check into Hampton by Hilton for the night. Lunch and dinner today are at your own expense.
Accommodation: Jiujiang
Hotel: One night at Hampton by Hilton in Jiujiang. The exact property, room category and booking details are confirmed in your quotation.
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, leave Jiujiang for Sandiequan, Lushan’s Three-Step Waterfall. Follow the approach through the mountain landscape towards the cascades, allowing time for photographs and the return walk. The route includes many steps and an uphill return, making this one of the more demanding walks of the trip. Let us know about mobility needs before booking so a suitable plan can be discussed.
Lunch is included before the return towards Nanchang. Your driver takes you to the agreed departure point at Changbei Airport, Nanchang West Railway Station or Nanchang Railway Station. Choose a late-afternoon or evening connection only after the day’s travel timing has been checked with us. A different station or a separately timed transfer can be arranged and quoted in advance. The tour ends today, with no additional hotel night.
Accommodation: Not included (Departure day)
Hotel: No overnight stay
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

This five-day, four-night private tour starts and finishes in Nanchang. It travels to Sanqingshan, Wangxian Valley, Wuyuan Huangling, Jingdezhen and Jiujiang, with a final visit to Lushan’s Sandiequan Waterfall before returning to the agreed Nanchang departure point.
The tour starts from US$1,355 per person, based on two adults sharing a room in low season. Your final price depends on your dates, party size and room arrangements. The itemised quotation confirms the hotels, guiding language, transfers and any cable cars or internal scenic transport included.
The four-night plan includes a local 4-diamond hotel in Nanchang, a guesthouse outside Wangxian Valley, a local 5-diamond hotel in Wuyuan and Hampton by Hilton in Jiujiang. The diamond categories are local hotel classifications and are not official star ratings. Your final quotation names the properties and room types; the Wangxian stay is outside the scenic area.
Sanqingshan has mountain paths and steps even with cable-car access. Sandiequan includes a stepped approach and a return climb, while Huangling and Wangxian Valley also have slopes, steps or uneven lanes. Day 2 is especially busy and needs an early departure. Tell us about fitness or mobility needs before booking so the sightseeing pace can be considered.
Seasonal flowers, waterfall flow and mountain visibility depend on the weather and time of year.
The meal plan includes 4 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners. Your land vehicle and driver are arranged for your party, with local guiding as listed in the quotation. Scenic buses and cable cars are shared visitor services. The first day is free time after the arrival transfer; English-language guiding is included only if agreed in your quotation.
Yes. Wunvzhou can be added as an optional evening visit in Wuyuan, with show, boat and other package items confirmed in the quotation. At Jingdezhen’s Sculpture Porcelain Factory, a pottery session such as wheel throwing, painting or clay modelling can be arranged in advance. These activities are additional to the standard itinerary, and firing or shipping is quoted separately.
We check the museum’s opening calendar and available admission arrangements for your dates. If it is closed or visitor capacity prevents the visit, the planned alternative is Taoyangli’s heritage area. This does not guarantee admission to Imperial Kiln Museum or every building in the area, which may have its own opening and reservation arrangements.
