1. 240-Hour Visa-Free Transit Policy

Starting from December 17, 2024, China has unified and extended its original 72-hour and 144-hour visa-free transit policies to 240 hours (10 days) for eligible international travelers.

대상자 Citizens of 54 countries, including:

• Europe (40): 오스트리아, 벨기에, 체코, 덴마크, 에스토니아, 핀란드, 프랑스, 독일, 그리스, 헝가리, 아이슬란드, 이탈리아, 라트비아, 리투아니아, 룩셈부르크, 몰타, 모나코, 네덜란드, 폴란드, 포르투갈, 슬로바키아, 슬로베니아, 스페인, 스웨덴, 스위스, 러시아, 영국, 아일랜드, 키프로스, 불가리아, 루마니아, 우크라이나, 세르비아, 크로아티아, 보스니아 헤르체고비나, 몬테네그로, 북마케도니아, 알바니아, 벨라루스, 노르웨이, 노르웨이
• Americas (6): 미국, 캐나다, 브라질, 멕시코, 아르헨티나, 칠레
• Oceania (2): 호주, 뉴질랜드
• Asia (6): 일본, 대한민국, 싱가포르, 브루나이, 아랍에미리트, 카타르

기본 요구 사항:

• Must hold a confirmed onward flight ticket to a third country or region (not returning to the country of departure)
• Passport must be valid for at least 3 months
• Stay must not exceed 240 hours (10 days)
• Entry permitted through 60 designated ports in 24 provinces across China
• Permitted for purposes such as tourism, business, and family visits (not valid for work, study, or journalistic activities)
• 사전에 비자를 신청할 필요 없이 입국 심사대에 도착하여 신청하세요.

참고: Travelers with a history of visa denial or immigration violations may not be eligible.

2. 30-Day Visa-Free Entry Policy

Effective November 30, 2024, China offers temporary visa-free entry for citizens of select countries for purposes such as tourism, business, family visits, and short-term exchanges.

대상 국가는 다음과 같습니다: 호주, 뉴질랜드, 일본, 불가리아, 루마니아, 크로아티아, 몬테네그로 및 기타 국가

• Valid until December 31, 2025
• Visitors can stay in China for up to 30 days without a visa
• 입국 시 숙박 및 여행 계획 증명서를 제시해야 합니다.

3. Standard Tourist Visa (Type L)

Travelers who are not eligible for visa-free entry or transit must apply for a Tourist Visa (L type) before arriving in China.

애플리케이션 요구 사항:

• Passport valid for at least 6 months
• 최근 여권 사진과 함께 비자 신청서를 작성합니다.
• 왕복 항공권 증빙
• 중국 내 호텔 예약 또는 공식 초청장

신청 방법:

• Submit documents to the nearest Chinese embassy or visa center
• Some countries support online appointments and digital submissions
